Essential browser storage

The website uses browser local storage under the key “trakshield-basket-v1” to remember product IDs and quantities in your basket. Vehicle details, contact information and payment details are not stored in that basket.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 through Firebase only if you choose “Allow analytics”. It helps us understand visits and completed purchases, including device and approximate location information. When you return after a confirmed live purchase, we may send product names, quantities, subscription terms, discounts, the amount paid and a unique order reference. We do not send form answers, contact or payment details, URL queries or fragments. Confirmation pages use a fixed address without your private return link; checkout and staff pages are excluded. Advertising features and automatic form tracking are disabled.

With your consent, Google Analytics stores the “_ga” and “_ga_N1JWMGDES0” cookies for up to 180 days. Firebase may also store an installation identifier in your browser. We remember your choice for 180 days using the local storage key “trakshield-analytics-consent-v1”. While analytics is allowed, we also keep up to 100 reported order references for up to 180 days under “trakshield-analytics-purchases-v1” to help prevent duplicate sales reports. Rejecting analytics removes those references and leaves the shop available.

Optional advertising cookies

Only if you allow marketing cookies, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives browser and device information, public page categories, product IDs and successful basket additions. After a verified paid order, we may report its value, currency, product quantities and a unique reference to measure sales and avoid duplicate reports. This helps us show relevant adverts and exclude purchasers from reminders. The advertising tags run in a separate document with no access to your forms or private checkout links. We do not send your name, email, address, vehicle details, card information, URL queries or fragments to the advertising tags.

Marketing is off until you make this separate choice; earlier analytics consent does not turn it on. We remember your choice for up to 180 days using “trakshield-marketing-consent-v1”. Meta may use “_fbp” and “_fbc” cookies, typically lasting up to 90 days. We retain up to 100 dispatched order references for up to 180 days under “trakshield-marketing-purchases-v1” to prevent duplicates. Withdrawing marketing consent unloads the advertising tags and removes these first-party cookies and references. It does not erase data already received by Meta. Manage both choices in Cookies & storage. Meta processes information under its privacy policy.

You are in control

Remove individual products from the basket, or clear this website’s browser data to remove the saved selection. Browser privacy settings may prevent persistence. Staff sign-in also uses essential browser session storage. The external checkout and app stores operate separately under their own notices.

You can withdraw analytics consent above at any time. This stops collection in this browser, removes its Analytics cookies and refreshes the page. It does not erase information already received by Google. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes stored identifiers and your saved preference.
